About this project

“Take a photo every day” is a New Year’s resolution, that is exactly that. Taking an analogue photograph every day of the year 2019. Since a roll of film is between 12 and 36 photos, plus it wouldn’t be very economical to always develop a singe roll, I’ve decided to give myself a head start of one month. So every picture you see has not been taken today, but 30 days ago. To fill the gap in January, I’ve decided to pull some photos from my archive.

The rules of “Take a photo every day”:

  1. Take a photo every day

  2. Only analogue photographs count

  3. No digital post-processing

About me

I’ve started working with analogue cameras as a child and grew up with digital photography. At some point, I got thinking about the value of a photo taken, as one in a series of ten or a even hundred thousand. I’ve fallen in love with the limited capacity and features of a analogue cameras, as well as the process of developing photographs myself.
